A school nurse is available during school hours. If your child becomes ill during the school day, you will be contacted to make arrangements to pick them up. Your child must be fever free without medications or free of vomiting/diarrhea for 24 hours before they may return to school.
We follow Minnesota Department of Health guidelines regarding student immunizations. For the health and safety of all students and staff, proper immunizations are required for school attendance.
On the left side of this page is a link to the Minnesota Department of Health's web site with detailed immunization information. A copy of the "Pupil Immunization Record" can be found below.
We encourage all school community members to get annual flu shots.
If your child needs to take short or long-term medications, written authorization from parents must be on file with the school. A copy of the "Authorization for Administration of Medication at School" form is below. In addition, long-term medications and some other medications need annual approval from a medical doctor. Please see the Student Handbook for further details.
