On First Fridays, the priest makes home visits, bringing Eucharist to those who have requested it. Under the direction of the priest, lay Eucharistic Ministers may bring Eucharist on a weekly basis. Contact the parish office to arrange for home visits.

Perpetual Adoration

The Catechism of the Catholic Church tells us that “In his Eucharistic presence he (Christ) remains mysteriously in our midst as the one who loved us and gave himself up for us, and he remains under signs that express and communicate this love: The Church and the world have a great need for Eucharistic worship. Jesus awaits us in this sacrament of love. Let us not refuse the time to go to meet him in adoration, in contemplation, full of faith, and open to making amends for the serious offences and crimes o the world. Let our adoration never cease.

The Blessed Sacrament (the Body of our Lord) is exposed for prolonged Adoration in the Eucharistic Chapel on the north side of the Church (enter at door “L” on Kingsley Street), from Sunday morning after the 10 am Mass until Saturday afternoon at 3:00 pm. You may stop in for a few minutes or devote an hour.

Many people are needed to be regular adorers and substitutes. They commit to praying in the Chapel at a specific day and hour every week. This is a beautiful way to grow in your relationship with Christ. Children are welcome to attend with their parents. Teens are encouraged to visit the adoration chapel frequently or to sign up for their own adoration hour.
