Baptism

The birth of a new child is an exciting time in the life of a family and the parish rejoices that you are making your faith a part of your child’s life through the Sacrament of Baptism. Parents wishing to baptize their children at St. Pius are invited to prepare for the sacrament by participating in our Baptism Workshop. In the workshop, you will have an opportunity to learn more about Baptism reflect on your own faith and find ways to incorporate your faith into your family’s daily life.

The baptism workshop is generally scheduled on the third Monday evening every other month from 6:30-8:30 PM in the Community Rooms. Child care forchildren six months through fifth grade will be provided upon request.  Reservation for the workshop MUST be made by calling the Parish Office at 651-429-5337.

School age children needing the sacrament of baptism should participate in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Children.
